Overwhelmed by bamboo?

Regain your yard - Call now

  • Are you looking to clear and remove all your bamboo?

  • Looking to contain and have a bamboo barrier installed?

  • Are you tired of the new sprouts taking over your lawn?

  • Did you know that the only way to permanently remove bamboo is to completely dig it out?

Full Root Excavation of Bamboo

We get at the root of the problem. Sick of all the new sprouts taking over your yard in an endless fight of who will retain the lawn? We have the solution.

We cut out and fully remove all the roots with excavation equipment, root rakes, etc. The only way to permanently remove bamboo is to remove the rhizomes, or commonly referred to as root clusters and rip it all out completely. Bamboo is very invasive and can double its footprint in your yard virtually overnight if not contained.

Often tree removal companies offer bamboo removal services only to show up with a stump grinder that is really incapable of getting to the depth necessary to effectively remove the bamboo. Most stump grinders will commonly only reach 4-6" below the soil and usually will max out at 12" while the bamboo roots extend far past that and will continue to grow despite whatever the stump grinder might cut up. We understand the science behind the root removal process and comb the soil to fully remove the invasive roots permanently.

Have you noticed more and more shoots appearing in areas you want to keep clean? Bamboo barriers are highly affective in containing the bamboo if you would like to keep it growing in a specific area. Trenching for the installation of a bamboo barrier must be must be deep enough to keep the horizontal roots from spreading but then allow some bamboo to remain in a controlled area. We recommend 36" average depth for the bamboo barrier installation in the Mid-Atlantic region.

We are happy to discuss all the options to get your bamboo under control.
